The best-practice organizations featured in APQC's Connecting People to Content study do not, on average, have significantly better search technology than the organizations that sponsored the research. However, the best-practice firms meet the searching needs of their workforces through consistent content management processes and attention to detail when it comes to analyzing and improving search functionality.
