Redefining Process at National University

National University’s goals are to maintain a steady flow of classes and a standard class size, while building a student’s competencies in his or her desired program. Furthermore, the university strives for consistency in the students’ experiences. As a result of those goals, it needed to redefine what a process was. National University, a best-practice organizations featured in APQC’s Building Strong Process Management Capabilities study, took common university practices and redesigned them as processes.
