Process Classification Framework: Then and Now

During the first quarters of 2013 and 2015, APQC conducted surveys to better understand why organizations use the Process Classification FrameworkSM (PCF), how they use it, and what benefits or challenges they face. Though there were differences between the two surveys, both surveys looked at the common uses, length of use, and which sections of the PCF organizations typically used.

This article compares results from the two surveys, explores the differences between responding organizations then and now, and draws conclusions about how PCF use relates to on-going success of the framework.
