At APQC’s November 2015 MENA Conference in Dubai, founder and president of an oilfield technology hub Saad Bargach shared how his focus on knowledge sharing drove organizational efficiency and clarity around quality improvement processes as a former Schlumberger executive. As a "resident of the world" currently living in Dubai and the United States, Bargach understands the importance of knowledge management (KM) approaches in a global setting. While president of drilling and measurements at Schlumberger, Bargach implemented a KM program that transformed a division once considered the black sheep of the company into a star performer and Schlumberger prepared a young workforce by connecting experts with field personnel to better serve clients.
