Anytime confidential information is shared, business risk increases. Processes to handle requests for power of attorney (PoA) and change of address (CoA) must be managed in order to minimize risk and provide valuable services to employees. This Power of Attorney and Change of Address Processes custom benchmarking report identifies core steps and unique practices for both processes.

In total, six organizations participated in this study, including the sponsor. APQC conducted a 60-minute interview with each participant, transcribed the notes, and analyzed the data. The findings from this study can help an organization assess its current practices to determine whether risk is adequately mitigated with regard to PoA and CoA.
