NASA: Effective Management of Mission Knowledge (Summary)



At APQC’s November 2015 MENA Conference in Dubai, NASA Chief Knowledge Officer Ed Hoffman described the agency's state-of-the-art KM program. The U.S. space agency has centralized governance for its KM program to standardize knowledge sharing across the agency. As the conference keynote speaker, Hoffman discussed NASA's recently centralized KM governance model and the KM tools that provide a common knowledge-sharing language, which has lead toward greater KM standardization across the agency.
