MSA's Global Design Summit Uses Communities of Practice to Spur Innovation

Details

Global safety product designer MSA Corp. has communities of practice (CoPs) that support knowledge sharing within its engineering disciplines. The KM team recently developed a global design summit to help these previously siloed CoPs cross-pollinate ideas and co-create designs. At APQC’s 2018 KM Conference, Shawn Rysak, design assurance group engineer, and Becky Whitworth, project manager, continuous improvement, explained how the global summit spurred collaborative innovation.
