Making the Case for KM at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory

NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JP) is the world’s leading spacecraft design and operations center for the robotic exploration of deep space. Much of the work accomplished by JPL has not been replicated, or even attempted, by any other entity. This means that JPL’s critical knowledge is especially important. The case for KM at JPL might seem self-evident, but the organization has faced challenges in getting buy-in for KM.

At APQC's 2018 KM Conference, David Oberhettinger shared how he sold his leadership on KM.
