Encouraged by the success of Wikipedia, many enterprise-wide wiki-encyclopedia initiatives began with enthusiasm to build collaborative repositories but ended with poor buy-in from employees. Some are submerged under an inundation of information; others are victims of the reluctant contributor. This presentation details the methodology that the knowledge management (KM) office of Schneider Electric used to successfully deploy its popular global wiki-encyclopedia in less than one year.
