Finance functions lose the potential to steer their organizations to success when they defer performance management to other functions, according to CFO-turned-author Jack Alexander. In October 2018, APQC spoke with Alexander about the role of performance management in FP&A, the future landscape for the finance function, and his new book Financial Planning & Analysis and Performance Management (Wiley Finance, 2018).
