At APQC’s November 2015 MENA Conference in Dubai, Schneider Electric SE Knowledge Management (KM) Officer Louis-Pierre Guillaume discussed his organization’s community of practice program, which was built on the premise “if Schneider knew what Schneider knows.” Started from scratch with executive support, this initiative was accelerated by the launch of a social collaboration platform months after deployment. From that experience, Guillaume shared how to measure the value of communities of practice and how to recognize community leaders for animating their communities.
