How Shippers View Their 3PLs' Performance

With more and more organizations outsourcing some or all of their logistics processes, third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and fourth-party logistics providers (4PLs) have become an integral part of the supply chain. APQC conducted a survey to determine the extent to which individual organizations use 3PL/4PL services and how satisfied they are with the performance they’re getting. The results of the survey reveal a surprising disconnect between the satisfaction of shippers and the actual logistics performance these organizations achieve.
