At APQC's 2014 knowledge management (KM) conference, Tom Davenport made the case for "engineering a merger" between KM and analytics. His keynote presentation began with an overview of the problems and promises of traditional KM and analytics. Davenport then described how combining KM and analytics into "knowledge analytics" could mitigate the shortcomings of both approaches.
