APQC’s Putting Knowledge in the Flow of Work study found that best-practice organizations strive to embed knowledge management (KM) in processes that affect day-to-day work. However, the organizations also sponsor knowledge-sharing events that take employees out of their routines. While not technically part of the normal workflow, these events address issues that are vital to organizational strategies and priorities.
