Four Proven Strategies to Evaluate Communities of Practice



Four classic measurement strategies are prevalent among the organizations featured in APQC’s 2017 Next-Generation Communities of Practice study:

  1. evaluation of accomplishments against stated objectives,
  2. routine health checks,
  3. member surveys, and
  4. success stories.

This article describes these measurement strategies using case examples from best-practice organizations.
