Having leadership support helps drive the importance of a program, assists with accountability, and establishes appropriate expectations. Process work does not produce a product or service, but it  requires significant investment and ongoing attention. Establishing this support is not easy. So how do you effectively engage leaders and gain support for process work in your organization?
 
Facilitators Christa Bol from UPS and Kendall Purohit from EY brainstormed with Think Tank attendees at APQC's 2018 Process & Performance Management Conference to define leadership and engagement for process work and discuss associated challenges and  solutions based on their experiences.
