The U.S. Army Center for Army Lessons Learned (CALL) was among the best-practice organizations studied as part of APQC's Collaborative Research study, Cutting the Cost of Not Knowing: Lessons Learned Systems People Really Use. This article describes how CALL balances the need to quickly share important lessons with the more long-term goals of analyzing lessons learned, publishing them in a variety of easily accessible formats, and (when appropriate) integrating them into Army doctrine and training procedures.
