Implementing the updated Committee of Sponsoring Organizations (COSO) Internal Controls – Integrated Framework has been an important endeavor for many organizations in their efforts to comply with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 (SOX). Based on SEC filings in 2015, a strong majority of issuers have completed the transition from the 1992 version to the 2013 version.

During this webinar, Protiviti's Jim DeLoach, Managing Director in Houston, and Keith Kawashima, Managing Director in Silicon Valley, addressed:

  • Key differences between the 1992 and 2013 COSO Frameworks
  • The importance of board-level engagement with new Framework
  • Recent statistics on organizations adopting the new Framework
  • Lessons from organizations that successfully transitioned to the new Framework
