Core Characteristics of Seamless Collaboration

Classic Content

APQC defines seamless collaboration as the ability for people to reach across any boundary—be it geographical, functional, generational, experiential, or cultural—and work together to create knowledge and solve complex problems. APQC’s 2011-2012 Knowledge Management Advanced Working Group (AWG) identified the core characteristics of seamless collaboration as contextual, focused, timely, embedded, and borderless. This document contains the AWG’s definitions of these five characteristics.
