Continuous Replenishment Lowers Total Logistics Cost



In continuous replenishment programs, organizations share inventory information with their suppliers and the supplier automatically replaces materials as needed. APQC’s research indicates that continuous replenishment programs can lead to lower logistics costs and fewer employees in the logistics function but only slightly increase the quality of customer deliveries.
