The use of game thinking and mechanics in non-game contexts has been gaining enormous momentum. Accenture’s Thomas Hsu and Stephen Kaukonen presented a "gamified” breakout session with activities and questions at APQC's 2013 knowledge management conference. The two also give examples of what Accenture has been doing, including the use of its internal “Klout” score to measure collaboration impact and influence.
