The traditional style of leading organizations is growing obsolete and a more dynamic leadership style is rising to take its place, finds APQC’s 2013 survey on the current state of leadership. In contrast to the traditional, hierarchical, command and control style of leading organizations, the dynamic leadership style is collaborative, flexible, and expertise-based. In an advanced analysis of its leadership survey results, APQC identified nine business trends driving the shift to dynamic leadership.
