In a presentation at APQC's 2013 Process Conference, Aleksandra Djordjevic and Dan Afseth of Intuit described their innovative approach to establishing a new process focused on developing continuous improvement capabilities.

Prior failed attempts to implement formal Six Sigma and Lean programs resulted in a reluctance within Intuit to pursue continuous improvement. In order to overcome this resistance, the guiding design principle was to work within existing culture, as opposed to change the culture.
