In 2011 the City of Calgary Auditor identified a need to further improve The City of Calgary's project management efforts. This case study explores how The City of Calgary's Corporate Project Management Center (CPMC), a centralized project management methodology, training, and support services for the decentralized PMOs; led the development of a corporate project management framework (CPMF) that would address concerns about project standardization, accountability, and transparency while maintaining flexibility.
