A successful knowledge management (KM) measurement strategy begins with effective KM tools and approaches focused on critical business processes. According to APQC’s research, best-practice organizations do not create separate outcome measures for KM. Instead, they start with key business outcome measures and then work backward to design KM activities and measures that focus on those outcomes.
