Employee Wellness. It’s Good Business.

It has taken half a century but wide-spread support for "wellness" is finally here. A majority of medium and large-size employers have implemented some form of health and productivity management (HPM) or employee wellness initiative. Common initiatives, aimed at improving employee health and productivity, include health-risk assessments, smoking cessation programs, and chronic condition management. When successful, these initiatives can reap significant rewards for organizations in the form of health insurance premium reductions, a drop in health insurance claims, reductions in employee absenteeism, and increases in employee engagement.

Learn more about employee wellness programs by listening to the recording of a recent human capital management (HCM) community call, Best Practices in Employee Wellness. In this Webinar recording, wellness program expert Lara Bunn of USI Insurance Services discusses:

  • the benefits of employee wellness programs,
  • the prevalence of different wellness practices, and
  • the secrets to providing effective wellness programs.
