APQC and Process Excellence Network Announce Collaborative, Content Sharing Partnership
Organizations to Share Content, Research for Best Practices and Benchmarking
(Houston, Texas - March 30, 2012)
In an effort to generate additional communication, knowledge sharing, and learning opportunities for process excellence professionals, APQC, the leading benchmarking and best practices research organization, and Process Excellence Network (PEX Network), a global community of more than 75,000 process excellence practitioners, announced today a content sharing and marketing relationship. Both organizations will share relevant research and other content with their respective members, as well as jointly promote conferences and other events.
“Both APQC and PEX Network are widely recognized for their outstanding work in uncovering the processes and best practices that enable organizations to improve productivity and quality, whether through original research, benchmarking or mass collaboration,” said John Tesmer, senior program manager, APQC. “Partnering with the Process Excellence Network will provide APQC members with access to new, fresh content in process management and process improvement from thought leaders around the world. We look forward to making this a rich and robust partnership.”
“We’re really pleased to confirm the partnership with APQC. It will bring a huge amount of value to both of our respective membership bases and serves as a benchmark model for the kind of open handed cooperation and knowledge sharing that we’d like to see become standard in the industry,” said Vanessa Lovatt, director, Process Excellence Network.
As part of the agreement, APQC and PEX Network will make selected, original content available to the other organization’s membership each month. In addition, each organization will provide an avenue for the other to promote their respective conferences, webinars and knowledge sharing events.
APQC is a member-based nonprofit and one of the world’s leading proponents of benchmarking, best practices, and knowledge management.
