Position Title: Web Marketing Specialist
Functional Area: Marketing
The ideal candidate will demonstrate successful experience implementing web based strategies and analyzing performance in a B2B environment. This position is responsible for ensuring that the company’s web presence and performance aligns with the overall business strategy and needs as well as capable of supporting the day-to-day operation of the company web site including designing processes for internal web support, setting standards, repackaging content, monitoring usability and performance measurement, identifying necessary improvements, and providing recommendations for achieving a world class web presence.
The position is responsible for the the overall presence, look and feel, and content related to the web site, including web performance as it relates to SEO, brand awareness and demand creation and the necessary activities to be successful. Candidate will have a proven track record of measurably improving web site performance and increasing qualified traffic and associated web leads. The candidate will have a strong track record on how to use, integrate and leverage content for marketing campaigns. His/her strengths and skills in Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Pay Per Click (PPC), email marketing, web development, social media and web analytics will be central to increasing awareness and interest in APQC’s products and services.
This position requires creativity, superb communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to be a self-starting proactive individual capable of performing multiple efforts simultaneously.

- Ongoing improvement and execution of web strategy including content building, link building, SEO, PPC, email marketing, landing page design, analysis and more.
- Collaborate with marketing team to build web based demand generation campaigns and product promotion, partner pages, campaign landing pages and other web-based activities.
- Ensure all online campaigns/tactics are able to be tracked and measured. Perform detailed analysis across campaigns and segments and provide tactical recommendations based on analysis that will increase effectiveness.
- Repackage, edit and ensure the right content is used on the website.
- Develop and rollout WEB content standards and regular communication and coordination to maintain across the organization.
- Develop and deploy effective SEO and lead generation programs.
- Identify and implement updates to the website as new products, services or research are developed in the organization.
- Conduct customer understanding initiatives and analyze site traffic trends to identify areas for improvement of web site, and implement needed changes.
- Monitor and improve usability
- Provide regular reports on website performance; analyze data, present findings and make recommendations for future tests, campaigns, efficiency improvements, and media optimization
- Monitor industry trends and evaluate ways to incorporate new learning into website
- Work with technical (IT) web staff to improve website functionality and capabilities as needed
- Lead and manage social media marketing program, driving traffic and visitors on prioritized outlets of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube Groups.
- Collaborate directly with all departments to ensure the online key themes, branding, products and promotions are consistent with activities in our other marketing channels
- Work closely with IT to manage site development and enhancement schedules
- Develop and execute targeted promotions to support seasonal priorities; review performance and ROI and determine implications for future campaigns. Manage promotional calendar and communications to cross functional teams
- Assist with the creation and management of annual budget for online activities - revenue, expense and capital for site enhancements

- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2 to 5 years experience
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Dreamweaver are a plus
- Knowledge of Drupal content management platform a plus
- Proven web site management and online demand generation experience including developing, running and evaluating online marketing campaigns
- Working knowledge and experience in web site coding standards, usability testing, online marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, and web analytics
- Proven project management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with many concurrent campaigns
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Innovative problem solving: detail-oriented and results-focused
- Must have the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral
- Flexibility and strong adaptation to a rapidly changing environment
