This BPTrends Report on The State of BPM - 2012 is a comprehensive survey report of the BPM market, including information regarding how organizations understand BPM, where organizations are in their process maturity, what organizations are spending on BPM, what types of BPM activities organizations are actively involved in, what organizations’ plans for the future are, and what BPM methodologies organizations are using.

The report is based on information collected in a market survey conducted by BPTrends in Q4, 2011. The report compares and contrasts the information presented in the three previous State of BPM reports published in 2006, 2008, and 2010. Like the three prior reports, this one includes an introduction, executive summary, detailed analysis of the results, and an appendix providing detailed descriptions of the concepts referenced in the report.
